Here I sit at 2am
The house is finally quiet
Dishes done, laundry folded,
Lesson plans arranged
Oh, wait, that was just a dream…

The day IS done
And I’m worn out
Another Monday night
Papers falling off the desk
My files a family joke

Still I’m smiling //
